VPN authentication using Windows AD

Hi, I need help to migrate the current VPN users to the new authentication method Windows AD. I' ve installed FSAE, configured the " Windows AD" option, created the " User Group" as Active Directory, but i the vpn by AD doesn' t work using the traditional network login/pass. Then validation using LDAP work fine, but i want to use the advantage of AD and avoid the explain to the users that they need to use the " full name" to logon VPN and after that to use the traditional network user/pass. have some documentation or example explaining this? I can' t find info about it. I' ve a Fortinet 100A MR6 b.668 Thanks in advance Martin

Hmmm... well there' s always the CLI. I Would go to the Fortinet Documentation website and get the CLI reference. If you login to support.fortinet.com there is a link for it on the main support page. Read through that and use the CLI to reverse the changes that you made that caused the page to stop working. Sounds like a firmware thing to me... are you running the latest firmware? I think ultimately it would be best for you to contact tech support. Even if you do have the latest firmware there may be a bug that they would like to document.

I have used the CLI, as soon as I clear the FSAE settings it starts to work again. I have submitted a ticket, hopefully it wont take too long to get a response

I presume you have tried it from another workstations browser? Also, clear out your IE cache, as it may have cached data from a previous firmware GUI.
