VPN Server Unreachable

Hi everybody 

Am facing an issue where we have a new site and that site is getting the internet from our main HQ when i try to connect with forticlient (my user is on the HQ forticlient) in our new site am getting server unreachable we are using SSL-VPN connection in our HQ.

for more context we have our public IP that is on the main HQ Fortigate interface and our remote gateway is that public IP the internet in our new site is from our HQ ofc I have an IP sec tunnel with our HQ and it is used for VOIP and AD to make it reachable from new site.

Resolve the "Server Unreachable" issue with FortiClient SSL-VPN:

1. Verify the IPsec tunnel between the new site and HQ is up.
2. Check routing and ensure SSL-VPN traffic can reach the HQ Fortigate.
3. Review firewall rules at HQ to allow SSL-VPN traffic from the new site.
4. Confirm SSL-VPN settings and remote gateway configuration on both FortiClient and Fortigate.
5. Ensure DNS resolution and test using the public IP.
6. Verify internet access from the new site via the HQ’s IPsec tunnel.
7. Check Fortigate logs for any errors.

I think you misunderstood me or my explanation was wrong either way I am using my internet from HQ in our new site what I want to achieve here is to let our employees connect with FortiClient to reach the HQ production env they are using there credentials on the HQ when using FortiClient in our new site but still it says unreachable am thinking the problem maybe that our new site is using the HQ as a default gateway that's why when they try to connect with their VPN its says server unreachable also they have internet access I have tested that and as for DNS issue we are using IP as remote gateway in the FortiClient settings so that couldn't be the problem
