VPN-SSL with a Fortigate 40f 3G4G

I'm trying to make a VPN-SSL using a Fortigate 40F 3G4G, we are using a SIM card from Vodafone Ireland, but we are not able to establish the conection, we think that the problem is with ISP that is not enrouting the trafic from the public ip to the fortigate, there is any way to fix it without the need to contact our ISP?

Hey tatum,

if the ISP is not forwarding the traffic, there isn't really anything you can do on the FortiGate to fix this. You can do a packet capture on FortiGate to verify if VPN requests actually make it to FGT:

#dia sniff packet any 'port <sslvpn port' 4 1000 a

-> you can see what interface (if any) the traffic arrives at; if you do see output, that would be an indication that VPN traffic is making it through and the ISP is not blocking anything.
-> if you do not see any traffic, then either traffic is not actually sent for whatever reason, or the ISP (or something in between) is indeed blocking it, and you will need to reach out to your ISP to follow up from that side.
