Hello,
When we try to connect to VPN SSL with the SSL VPN client, we blocked at 80% with the message "Unable to logon to the server. Your logon credentials may not be configured properly for this connection (-12).".
But we are sure about the login and password because it work's with VPN SSL on web browser.
The IP pool address for this connection is not busy.
With a "diag debug app ssl -1" no information.
The Fortigate is on firmware version 5.2.2.
The problem appear with the computer OS Windows 8 pro and 7 pro.
Have you already had this kind of problem ?

Is tunnel mode enabled in the portal options?
Double check the username in the client, IIRC vpn usernames are case sensitive aswell

The VPN client works for another windows versisons, with the same user?

We have already tried another version of the client and we have the same think.
With another login and password, the same think.
The id were check a lot of time and we have the same think.
