VLAN policy and routing

Hi All,

Appreciate if you guys can clarify or assist since I'm quite new with Fortigate product. current Fortigate 60D has been configured VLAN interface on physical port, My question is does the firewall policy or routing is required for inter vlan communication?. Thanks

Hi

Firewall policies are requiered if you want to allow traffic from one vlan to another.

Routing is not requiered since all the vlans interface are in the firewall, so the unit already knows where every subnet is
