Hello everyone.
I'm trying to figure out a solution for this horrible phone system we have. The normal config is that the PBX box plugs into my switch and all phone traffic uses VLAN 41. We just spun up a new sub-site of SITE-C with only 5 people and do not want to pay for a dedicated PBX box. Can I create a VPN tunnel from sub-site-C to SITE-C and pass the phone traffic to the PBX box their?
Wasn't sure if I could encapsulate L2 traffic inside a L3 connection and then encapsulate that inside a VPN tunnel.
Thanks

Its been two weeks and nobody has replied.
I've never used PBX boxes, but I know you can allow the VPN access to VLAN 41. I would maybe just try it and see what happens.
Since its VPN, it's like the connection is local. But I don't know about the phones.
