Hey guys!
I just bought a FortiGate 60E for home/experimental use and i would like to try out VLAN's. I created a Client and Server VLAN.
How can i get both VLAN's to connect to each other and the internet? I did try some firewall rules but none of them seemed to be working so i deleted them again. I am trying to find this for a couple of hours now, would somebody be so kind to push me in the right direction? I am using FortiOS 5.4.1
Thanks!
Geoffrey

Hi zhunissov4,
Thanks for the quick reply!
I will give the screenshots for the firewall rules and the static routes.
I suspect it has something to do with the static routes, right?
Hi,
I can ping from the FG CLI to 8.8.8.8, but from the clients it doesnt seem to work.
Hi,
i very appreciate your help with this, i hope the next screenshots will give enough information

Ahaa ok, so if im correct, the FortiGate 60E does not support 802.1q routing?
hi,
I think we need to work on inter-VLAN routing.
I am a beginner in Fortigate, but try to see this article anyway, it can help you even if it concerns 5.0.
