Using multiple subnets and network interfaces in Amazon AWS

Hi!

We are currently using Fortigate as a firewall in our VPC. We have two subnets, one public and the other one private.

Now we would like to add a third subnet called database but I'm unsure how to do this.

I have added a third network interface to the fortigate in AWS and enabled port3 but the interface is not working.

How do I enable the third network interface?

I've read something about switch mode and interface mode. Currently it is in switch mode but do I need to use interface mode to get this working?

Firmware version is 5.0.

Seems to not be my day. A restart of the firewall made it find the new network interface.
