Using Hardware switch interface as WAN instead of the WAN ports

Hello, I have a FortiGate 60E, but I need to add 2 devices on the LAN, that works as WAN, instead of the WAN port, that has only one port. Can I create a Hardware switch interface, add two physical ports and use it as WAN ?? I mean, as a L2 interface with a virtual IP included ? Thanks

Thank you guys,

Why not? A WAN port isn't that much different from an ordinary LAN port, except for the PPPoE method.

You can try that out in a minute.

I just created a hardware switch from 2 free unused physical ports on a 60E, running v5.4.8.

If you set the role to WAN you'll see all the relevant options.
