Hi Guys,
im new to fortimail and in the process of setting it up for a client. the mail is flowing in and out correctly but ive noticed in the logs there are a few Accept;Defer Disposition emails that have not actually been delivered. i was under the impression the system would send the user and email informing them they had something that was marked as spam and give the user the power to release. Is anyone able to tell me why nothing is being sent to the user ?

Hi,
Accept;Defer Disposition means message was deffered and wainting some time. Anfter that time msg will be delivered. It is part of antispam protection but msg was not quarantined. Time period to wait is configurable in System -> FortiGuard and then select tab AntiSpam. Change value of "Spam outbreak protection period"
