User identify in Wifi

For our wifi needs I have some forti APs configured to broadcast a wpa2 wifi. We don't use per user authentication.

The devices are only indentified per mac, but since many of them are company owned android phones I'd like to add the user to each device.

What are you using for this? WPA+Captive Portal? Is there any option I can match the user to the mac manually? I've the current ip for the devices I want to monitor.
