Hello,
we are actually evaluating a Fortimail Box. We are using the box in gateway mode for filtering incoming Mails.
-> MX-> fortimail -> my mail server
The mailboxes itself are located on "my mail server".
Now I would like to login to the fortimail box not as the admin but as a user to configure my Safe- and Blocklist (https://fortimail.example.org/m/webmail/).
I did not found how to configure this - simply using the smtp-data of the user does not work.
Can anybody point me the direction ?
Thanks
Sebastian
Hello,
define a working authentication profile and apply it to your relevant recipient policies;
Such way, your users will can log in your fortimail with their mail server credentials

Hello,
Thanks a lot. I already tried to define an authentication profile but I missed to assign it to a policy.
Works like a charm, Thanks!
Sebastian
Worked a Charm!!!
For those who need a bit more info, like I did
1. Setup Profile > LDAP (https://s3.amazonaws.com/fortinetweb/docs.fortinet.com/v2/attachments/1ca007c0-243b-11e9-b20a-f8bc12... page 452)
2. I also setup Domain & User > Domain > edit domain > LDAP Options > User alias > profile created in above step
3. Setup Policy > Recipient Policy > edit available policy > Authentication and Access > Authentication type > LDAP 4. Setup Policy > Recipient Policy > edit available policy > Authentication and Access > Authentication profile > profile created in above step
