Hello Fortinet Community ,
I would like to clarify a scenario regarding the integration between FortiMail and FortiAuthenticator.
In our enterprise environment, users are authenticated via FortiAuthenticator, and their email traffic is filtered by FortiMail. Specifically, in cases where certain users receive a high volume of phishing, spam, or other malicious emails, is it possible to automatically quarantine all incoming emails for those users?
Hi Ismail
I don't think there could any relationship with FAC in this scenario.
On FortiMail users are identified with their mailboxes.
On the other hand, I personally don't know on FortiMail any way to automatically quarantine all incoming emails for users who receive a high volume of spam mails.
The know way of operation is that the spam mails are quarantined and legitimate mails are relayed.
Hi @AEK ,
Thank you for your response. In which scenarios can we integrate FortiAuthenticator with FortiMail? Do you know any use cases for this?
Best Regards
Hi Ismail
I guess you can integrate it when FML is used as mail server.
