Hi, I have three mac airport express and they are in bridge mode connected to my switch, they are working like access point, and we want to use the guest network, is there a way to use it with a fortinet? We have a fortigate 60D.
I will appreciate the help, thanks.
Uhm you could create a special little network for them to seperate the wifi network from the rest but that's about it
Hey there!
Yes, it’s possible to use the guest network feature with your FortiGate 60D and Airport Express units. Since they’re in bridge mode, you’ll want to set up a separate VLAN on the FortiGate specifically for guest access. This way, you can keep the guest network traffic isolated from your main network.
In the FortiGate settings, configure a new VLAN interface and assign it to the ports connected to your Airport Express units. Then, enable policies to control and restrict access for guests as needed. That should allow your Gatwick Airport Express devices to broadcast the guest network while keeping it secure. Hope this helps!
