Hi everyone,
is it possible to configure a proxy on FortiAuthenticator so the VM can contact Fortinet Servers to activate his licence and register FortiTokens ? Or does the VM require a direct access to internet ?
I can't see this feature anywhere ...
Thanks for your replys :)
Best regards.
Franck
Hi,
it looks like you might be looking for this : FortiAuthenticator (FAC) 5.2.0/5.1.0 .. GUI / System / Administration / FortiGuard / FortiGuard Proxy Server
However the proxy seems to be there since 5.0.
EDIT:
HW tokens like FTK200 & FTK220 .. those are one time activation. So FAC need the access just once.
Mobile tokens need constant access to FortiGuard for every administrative change.
Alternative to both in "walled-garden" scenario where FAC has no internet access possibility might be FT211 .. "FrotiToken 200-CD" models.
Best regards,
Tomas
