Hi all,
I've got a FortiAnalyzer 1000B running v4.0,build0719 (MR3 Patch 8) in standalone configuration. I've been asked to upgrade the OS to the latest version 5.0.11. And I found the below document regarding the upgrade:
The doco says to follow the path:
4.0 MR3 patch8 Build # 632 ► 4.3.11 ► 4.3.18 ► 5.0.11
My question is:
1. The build # on my FAZ is 0719, however I can't find that one in the doco. I found MR3 Patch 8 (as written above) but it mentions build # 632. Does a different build # matter?
2. What do I need to take into consideration for the backout plan in case the update fails?
I'm new to Fortinet and would really appreciate if anyone can share some tips and their experience.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Tim.
The document you are referring to, is the firmware upgrade path for Fortigate devices only. What you want is the FortiAnalyzer Upgrade Guide, which is usually found in the same directory as the FortiAnalyzer firmware itself. In the same directory is the release/patch notes as well. I suggest reading both documents.
