Hi Unknown
Upgrade to either 7.2.6 or 7.4.2. Both are mature versions.
Follow the recommended upgrade path:
7.0.2 > 7.0.6 > 7.2.6 > 7.4.2

Friend, to update to version 7.4.1 would it be the same update path?
7.0.2 > 7.0.6 > 7.2.6 > 7.4.1 ?
During the update, will emails be queued until the update is finished?

The path you mentioned is correct. But why 7.4.1? since 7.4.2 is more mature (higher patch number).
During the update just don't worry about your e-mails. No one e-mail will not be lost, since any mail server (internal or external) will keep the mail in its queue and keep trying sending it till your FML is up again, or until e-mail expiration (typically 2 days).
Our FML currently is on v7.2.5. It was ob 7.2 eversince we have it in use.
