Are there any workarounds to the webfilter policy where sites are accessed by customer IP? We have issues where customer sites are not in DNS, just public IP. The webfilter blocks them due to unrated category. Yes, I know we can whitelist the IPs, but I am just trying to be proactive since we don't have a list of the IPs. I don't want to remove unrated category from policy.

Hi @1ryan1,
You can use static URL filter to exempt the URL. Please refer to https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Using-a-static-URL-filter-feature-to-allow...
Regards,
We are trying to bypass content filter if IP address is entered. Is that possible or no?
When webfilter is enabled, any URLs you entered on the browser will be scanned. The only way is to create a whitelist using static URL filter: https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Using-a-static-URL-filter-feature-to-allow...
