Hi I tried updated my F100D from 5.4.4 to 5.6.2 and I've some issues.
When I update it manually nothing happens, I tried using a few different browsers and got the same results.
I also tried the FortiGuard method and got the following error message: check image.
Anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Please advise.
Thank you.
1) Reboot FGT before upgrade, especially with higher uptime
2) Wait for 5.6.3, should be out very soon
Have you tried upgrading from the CLI? using a laptop as FTP server?
You can try to upgrade via the CLI and pull images from FortiCloud and see if you get an error.
FortiGate# execute restore image management-station Image-ID Version 05006000FIMG0012006003 v5.06 GA P3 b1547 (upgrade) 05006000FIMG0012006002 v5.06 GA P2 b1486 (upgrade) 05006000FIMG0012006001 v5.06 GA P1 b1484 (upgrade) 05006000FIMG0012006000 v5.06 GA b1449 (upgrade) 05004000FIMG0012004007 v5.04 GA P7 b1167 (upgrade) 05004000FIMG0012004006 v5.04 GA P6 b1165 (upgrade) 05004000FIMG0012004005 v5.04 GA P5 b1138 (upgrade)
For the manual upgrade, did you verify the MD5 hash? Could just be a corrupted file.
Also, next time you upgrade, leave a laptop connected to the serial port with putty or similar so you can log all the output during the upgrade. Should hopefully let you identify the issue.
