Unable to obtain permanent VM trial license: Failed to download VM license

Hi, 

Following this article I try to obtain a trial license: https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.6.5/administration-guide/441460
I receive error as follows: 

FortiGate-VM64-KVM # execute vm-license-options account-id

This VM is using the evaluation license. This license does not expire.
Limitations of the Evaluation VM license include:
1.Support for low encryption operation only
2.Maximum of 1 CPU and 2GiB of memory
3.Maximum of three interfaces, firewall policies, and routes each
4.No FortiCare Support
This operation will reboot the system !

Failed to download VM license.

I have checked my account and master account of our organization, and there is no trial vm license activated. Fortigate can access internet.

What version? I would work with your Fortinet account team.

I wrote with fortinet on chat, and they told me to post here, and I will get help from fortinet engineer ;) 
I have got fgt trial license years ago, but it is not on my asset list any more...

I was able to activate the license on 7.4.8...

ok, so there was issue with emulation. I have to add -cpu host parameter in qemu, and after that I was able to activate license... strange.
