Unable to delete Virtual IP

Hello, First - yes, I checked all my firewall policies to make sure the Virtual IP I want to delete is not being used in any policy. But when I go to Virtual IP, the trashcan icon does not appear next to the Virtual IP so that I can delete it. I have successfully deleted 1 other Virtual IP. Any suggestions? Try to delete it trough the cli. If doesnt go, be sure is not used as ip pool address or from something else (address etc..).

Thanks for your suggestion, Pman. Fortinet is new to me so I' ll have to check the manual for CLI usage and commands. Bummer. Too bad the web interface is " flakey" . This is such a simple thing. Lots of areas of improvement needed in the web interface so I hope it gets regular updates. Cheers, Derek

There is a problem actually when you use the same source and destination interface in a new rule in the policy. it appears to take it and disappears, but can sometimes be seen in the CLI, but its an invalid entry. therefore you may have to remove a ' phantom' firewall rule thats using it, if it still doesnt budge.
