Hi all,
To summarize, FortiClient does not work on Dell Latitude 7350, because of the Intel BE200 card.
I can't get the prompt for the token.
In the logs, I can see "no response from the peer".
It works on wired connection, and it works also with an external USB wifi adapter.
Apparently, FortiClient and the Intel BE200 card are incompatible. What can be done in this case?

I GOT IT WORKING!
I decided to install Windows 10 Pro for sh*ts and giggles because I've exhausted all troubleshooting steps. I used Dell Command Update to install all the drivers. For Intel Wi-Fi BE200 I have driver version 23.60.1.2 dated 6/3/2024. Not sure if that's the same version that was installed when the laptop was on Windows 11. Once I had the drivers updated, I installed FortiClient 7.2.4.0972 and got connected successfully.
UPDATE: I tried Windows 11 again just to confirm, and sure enough, I'm back to not being able to connect. Same driver version for Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200. So, the fix is to install Windows 10 for now.
Hi, may I ask - is the problematic Windows 11 professional version or home version? Thanks
Hi, Windows 11 Pro. I can be available for screen sharing if you want to review.
We're looking into these 2 Windows 11 updates.
APR 9, 2024 - KB5036894
Windows devices might face VPN connection failures after installing the update dated April 9, 2024, or later.
MAY 14, 2024 KB5037770
This update addresses a known issue that might cause your VPN connection to fail. This occurs after you install the update dated April 9, 2024, or later.
Hey,
I thought i would share our exact same issue and how we resolved it.
We tried everything but in the end what fixed this for us was Dell replacing the motherboard. So if you have warranty on the laptop, then ask Dell to swap out the MB and then test again.
Hope this helps.
What Wireless adapter does it show after the motherboard was replaced and is it Windows 11?
Hey Jeff,
Laptop is Windows 11 Pro and the Wifi card shows up as "Intel(R) Wi-Fi 7 BE200 320MHz"
Driver version 23.60.1.2
Hello,
Windows 11 with Wifi 7 adapter may not be able to connect to IPsec VPN.
This is being worked on by our Devs Team with Internal Case 1079047.
Hey Bon,
We have multiple Win 11 with Wifi7 cards working, we only started having issues once we change the configuration from a 16GB to a 32GB Latitude model but the motherboard swap has resolved this for us.
When was this case opened?
Do you have an expected resolution date for this fixed to be available?
Thanks.
The case was opened Sept 2024.
Devs aim to resolve in next FCT 7.2.6 release, still unsure yet if it is able to make it in time for mid-Nov2024.
Looking at the discussion, some customers have good success when use the driver version 23.60.1.2 for Wifi 7 BE200 adapter:
