USB disk

FortiGate 60C version 4.3.11. Have any of you had problems formatting USB keys in the FortiGate CLI? If I try to format the key it does this: ------------------------------------------------ FortiGate_60C # execute usb-disk format This operation will ERASE all data in USB disk! Do you want to continue? Return code -160 FortiGate_60C # ------------------------------------------------ The key works fine in Windows. This occurs when formatted to FAT or FAT32. It is the same brand and size of key I have used before but the internals could be different.

I' ve used many USB sticks in the past but always had them formatted externally before use. And I' ve never employed a stick bigger than 4 GB. If you format the stick in a PC to FAT32, and if the stick is <= 4 GB, can you use it in your FGT? ' exe us li'

Hi Ede, I can quick format it in Windows and get the error I posted in the FG. A full format fails. Don' t know if that' s normal or not for USB keys. I have a few old ones which work for now. I will have to test any others before I buy them in bulk! Cheers, Paul
