USB Network Adapter
Our corporate laptops currently use external USB network adapters. Users exchange them willingly or unwillingly. This causes browsing permissions, for example, to go from an intern to a manager or vice versa. USB network adapters are a problem but you have to use them.
Is there a way to match each laptop to each USB adapter?

Are you using MAC addresses to filter the traffic?
FSSO would be a good solution for you.

Hi,
Correct.... We are using MAC Address filtering....but is not an option to use FSSO because our boss disapproves.......We have tried several online tools to match the network adapter with each laptop. But we have not found one that is simple but effective.

Here I think there must be something inside the host that can identify the host.
Possible solutions I have in mind:
- FortiClient EMS with mobility agent
- FortiNAC with persistent agent
- Or you can remove the ability to hosts from using USB WiFi adapter, and just keep the embedded WiFi adapter. You should be able do this from your AD
But I'm pretty sure there are still other solutions.
