UBUNTU - DNS resoled service is being restart by vpn client every 2 min

Hello,

i am facing an issue of DNS resolved service restart every 2 min by forticlient.

this cause an interruption in the DNS service.

any idea how to turn the DNS restart by the client?

this is on Ubuntu 20.04 environment

Please check if below helps,

# resolved service deactivated
systemctl disable systemd-resolved.service
systemctl stop systemd-resolved

# parameter in config add
/etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
[main]
dns=default

# symlink delet
rm /etc/resolv.conf
systemctl restart network-manager

I am experiencing the exact same issue on FortiClient Version version 6.4.8.1056. Would you be able to elaborate on what the fix is for this issue?
