I have VPN authentication previously setup with a pre-shared key on the firewall, now i intend to deploy MFA for all users. I had no problem using MFA with forticlient VPN on windows with my existing pre-shared key. Now, i tried connecting using iPad using traditional Apple IP2sec config. with the pre-shared key -this works fine when MFA is turned OFF but when i turn ON MFA for user on firewall, i dont get any pop-up to keyin my Authcode from Fortitoken.
Troubleshooting steps so far: i tried using forticlient vpn for iPad but it seems like i can change the config mode to pre-shared key rather the only more secured option is the use of certificate.
kindly advise how best to go around this.
