Traffic Shaping in FortiGate

Hello guys i need your help

How can I configure the Traffic Shaper so that the set value applies equally to all users? For example, if I set the value to 20, it should be the same for all 30 participants, without needing to divide this value among the 30 users.

To configure the traffic shaper so that the set value applies equally to all users without needing to divide the value among them in FortiGate, you can follow these steps:

1. Access the FortiGate.
2. Navigate to Firewall Objects > Traffic Shaper > Shared and select Create New.
3. Enter a name for the traffic shaper.
4. Choose Per Policy.
5. Check the Maximum Bandwidth box and enter the desired value (e.g., 20).
6. Check the Guaranteed Bandwidth box and enter the same value (e.g., 20).
7. Set the Traffic Priority as needed (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
8. Select OK to save the configuration.

By setting both the Maximum Bandwidth and Guaranteed Bandwidth to the same value in a Per Policy traffic shaper, each user or policy that uses this traffic shaper will receive the specified bandwidth equally without the need to divide it among the users manually.
