The mdareDriver_64 service failed to start

Our computers have the following issue going on in the system event logs:

The mdareDriver_64 service failed to start due to the following error:  Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source

anyone have a similar issue? This is with Forticlient version 5.4.3

I have the same event logged on a hyper-v guest running Windows Server 2016 and FortiClient 5.4.2. I tried to repair FortiClient installation, but that didn't help. Does anyone have some input?
