Having the same issue in our organization. Sometimes folks can connect and sometimes they can't. Sometimes a reboot fixes it and sometimes it doesn't.
We are now facing the same issue in our company as well. Until now, everything was running smoothly. Out of nowhere, certain users are gradually unable to log in and receive the error 'VPN connection failed. The VPN server is not reachable. (-8)'. Currently, 3 out of 24 are affected.
Other users do not receive this error and can connect without any problems. All users are registered via RADIUS. Login data works, and the password is valid.
According to the Fortinet log, the user connects successfully (with the user seeing about 80% of the connection setup completed) and then the connection is interrupted without an error message, as if the user had interrupted it themselves. Meanwhile, the user receives the error message 'VPN connection failed. The VPN server is not reachable. (-8)'. Meanwhile, other users are connected successfully
