Telnet Test from FW

Hello,

Very new to Fortinet, trying to figure out things compared to Cisco. One thing I couldn't find is a quick telnet test to see if there is a policy on the FW blocking particular ports/destination.

From a workstation, I'm used to [ Telnet destination port

On an ASA, I believe it's PING TCP to do the same test.

Does fortinet have the same sort of test?

As far as I understand you would like to check whether there is an existing firewall policy for particular traffic. In case I understand scenario correctly you may consider to use firewall policy lookup feature. Please find the details by following the link below:
