Stacking two Fortiswitch 524D as one unit

Hi all,

can enyone help with configuring standalone stack with 2 FS-524D. I use two 40G QSFP cabes to connect both switches.

OS - 6.0.2

https://docs.fortinet.com/uploaded/files/4823/fortiswitchos-6.0.2-admin-guide.pdf

I would like to achive as written under MCLAG (page 94):

A multichassis LAG (MCLAG) provides node-level redundancy by grouping two FortiSwitch models together so that they appear as a single switch on the network.

As suggested I configure:

config switch trunk

edit "MCLAG-ICL-trunk"

set mclag-icl enable

set members "port29" "port30"

set mode lacp-active

Trunk is configured O.K but still I can't see FS as one unit (maybe something is still missing in configuration).

My question is how to configure the switch to be seen as one unit and when Stacking ID LED and "stack" LED will turn on on front panel?

Thank you,

Wai

Have you figured out the purpose of the Stacking ID LED and "stack" LED and when they actually turn on?

I'm testing a couple of 548D and I haven't been able to find any information about those LEDs
