Speedtest.net issue

Hello Experts ,

I need to test internet line speed using Speedtest.net but it seems to be blocked and the traffic calls distributed randoms servers and random URLs around the world so if i made FQDN:speedtest.net sometimes works , so if there any way to allow this kind of traffic , for example using a custom application signature for Speedtest.net when applying an application control profile .please advise ?

Hello @hamed-wasel,

Thank you for using the Community Forum.

As per your query, while testing your internet line speed I would suggest creating a policy at the top of all the policy rules for the source machine you are testing from by allowing ALL in the destination address and specifying only the IP address if the source machine you are testing from under source address and you can then disable all other UTMs.
So when you would run the test from the speed test this rule would allow only this machine to reach all destinations.

Let me know if this helps.
