Some qüestions about Forticlient

Hello,
We work with Forticlient on the computers to connect the VPN and we want to know if there is any version (free or paid) 
that allows the possibility that the VPN does not disconnect every time the computer goes to sleep and that allows remembering the password.
We have tried with version 5.4.2.523 and with the full version 7.0.5.0166 but we have not found those options.

Not sure it will do the job, but it is the only option to configure anyway - try playing with idle-timeout setting (default is 5 mins, set to 0 to disable) under SSL vpn settings, see how here https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiClient/Technical-Tip-SSLVPN-Idle-timeout-not-working/ta-p/194...

Actually this is not really the aim of client-server SSL VPN.

You probably need site-to-site IPsec VPN.

also could be that it goes down because windows shut down the Networkinterfaces upon pc going to sleep  so there is no more internet and with that the remote gw is no longer reachable.

I understand that you would like to get a free or paid version of Forticlient which lets the VPN connection to stay up always and to remember the password. Some of the features does not come with the free version. Please refer to the below link to verify those details :
