Greetings,
Scenario:
with no changes on LAN or WAN side, suddenly when hosts try surfing on the internet the connection is become very slow.
LAN side
checked latency, transferring file(s) inside the LAN, domain setting, DNS records, server and hosts updates
finally I been restart all servers, and network equipment such as: switches and fortigate unit.
WAN side (fortigate 60D)
checked System resources function normal memory and CPU usage, Bandwidth there is no hosts who 'killing' the line
I notice that when try pinging from the LAN to 8.8.8.8 I receiving 100% packet loss but when pinging google.com result bit high but not receive packet loss
tracert or pathping results take longer than expected
Same results I got from the WAN side Fortigate CLI
I follow DNS records on the LAN and WAN seems fine they pointed to my ISP and the last DNS record pointed to 8.8.8.8
They only things i didn't checked is Modem which function as bridge mode, and my ISP.
