Slow Internet

Good day!

We have a Fortinet 100E  here on our office, but we experience a slow connection even we have a 40Mbps bandwidth DIA. 

Status of my devices:

CPU: 7%

Memory: 32%

Session: 3702

   SPU: 13%

   nturbo: 4.7%

WAN1: 

Inbound: 2Mbps

Outbound: 1.5Mbps

WAN2:

Inbound: 5.5Mbps

Outbound: 9.5Mbps

My testspeed: 

Download: 3.03Mbps

Upload: 6.9Mbps

Can someone help me to identify or analyze why we have a slow connection.

Before recommending any model. Let me know the following

- how many RJ45 interfaces do you need?

- GE SFP slot

- 10 GE SFP 

as it is not clear from you what is terminated directly on the FGT. However the 500 series could be suitable.

My setup is:

1 Fortinet 100E

    Port Active: WAN1, WAN2, Port1

2. Cisco Switch 

Port Active: Port 1 connected to Port1(Fortinet)

Port2 - Port6 - CLients / Devices / AP's

Keeping in view the setup u have, believe FGT 300 series is ok for u. Rest u check with your FGT reseller or partner, discuss with him your business requirement and pain and let him suggest you the right configuration
