Sending User Generated Traffic to multiple syslog server using FG200F

Dear All,

I have an issue with the following product we are having:

We have an FG200F where I want to forward user-generated traffic to two different locations for  analysis and reporting.

As you all know we can only configure one syslog server on the FG200F using the GUI so the only solution is possibly the CLI, now I know and found the commands to enable syslog and setup the syslog server IP Address and port numer.

But I am not sure how to use the CLI to enable it to forward user-generated traffic.

Can you all help me on how to configure two different syslog server IP Addresses with different port numbers using the CLI.

Thank you all. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi ShahAlizada,

Fortigate can send logs to max 4 Syslog servers, so you configure the second server using the same commands, but syslogd2 on the CLI.

Please refer to the documents below for more information:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.1/cli-reference/356620/log-syslogd2-setting

If you have found a solution, please like and accept it to make it easily accessible to others.

Regards,
Aman
