Our company recently purchased a third party logging software from ManageEngine called Firewall Analyzer. We use our FortiGate 500D in VDOM mode and this software is detecting each VDOM as a separate device and is requiring an expensive device license for each VDOM that is sending Syslogs.
We have contacted TAC for suggestions and they believe it may be possible to forward all non-root VDOM Syslogs to the root VDOM and have all the logs come from the Root VDOM. They haven't had any luck getting this to work properly so far. They also suggested setting up the FortiAnalyzer service using the IP of our Syslog server (Firewall Analyzer). "Can you try to follow this doc : https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.0.0/administration-guide/604952/sending-traffic-logs-... and replace fortianalyzer to syslog server that should work out for you."
Does anyone else have any suggestions on how we could get all VDOM logs to come from the Root VDOM?

Hi,
Have you tried dedicating one VDOM for management ? In that case you should be able to have logs for all your VDOM going out by the mgmt VDOM.
