Secure Internet Access issue on hotspots

FortiSASE configuration

We have a handful of users who are unable to stay connected on the VPN while connected to iPhone hotspots. FortiClient will connect, then drop after a few minutes and then reconnect and again drop (loop behaviour). 

The VPN is stable on fixed (non-mobile) network connections.

Anyone know why this happens or has a workaround?

You may try one of the following as troubleshooting steps, and even if it doesn't fix the issue it will provide more visibility.

• In case your iPhone hotspot gives IPv6 address then try disable it and keep only IPv4
• Did you try with Android hotspot with the same ISP? Is the behavior the same?
• The ISP/mobile-operator can also occasion such error. Did you try with the same iPhone with 4G from another operator?
