Hi, I've setup successfully a Site-to-Site between a Fortigate 61E and a Cisco ASA 5510. It's now working and both local subnets can communicate to each other. One question though, the users on the branch office seems to experience intermittent or disconnection on a web based application they're using which is pointing to the main branch.
One way to monitor is I enabled the widget for the tunnel, are there other ways/methods to monitor the performance? Whats logs should I be focusing on?
Thanks
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
You should be looking for any sessions that have been blocked, timed-out or RST.
This cookbook explains the how to monitor using the FortiView feature http://cookbook.fortinet.com/blocking-monitoring-tor-traffic/
There are lots of examples in here https://docs.fortinet.com/uploaded/files/3108/fortiview-541.pdf
page 35 explains how to monitor sessions, here you can monitor client ip sessions.
