SSLVPN / Active Directory and special character

Hi, Just FYI, I just figure out that tehre was an issue with my password and an active directory authentifcation on FortiOS 5.0.5. I configured a SSLVPN with AD authentication.
When i log into the SSL portal with my AD account --> no pb
When i try to use the FortiClient --> no matching policy
When I replace the AD authent with a Tacacs --> no pb

In my password I had a " @" , if I replaced it with a normal character, the authentication is working fine... I spent several days trying to debug this case :( I' m currently testing the fortinet in order to replace our Cisco fw, not too sure if I will choose them .... If you have any comment, feel free to reply to this thread. Nick.

Hi Nicolas Just a suggestion, if you escape the @ would that pass? E.g. \@ instead of @ ?
Kind regards, Jaap

Hi Nicolas, I have the same issue in the past. We configured LDAP for SSL VPN authentication and everything works fine now. Pls post your LDAP settingsa and User Group, I will compare your config to one of my client who has working sslv vpn authenticating to Ad/LDAP.
