SSL VPN portal connection optimizing

Hello,

We have FortiGate running OS 7.2.6 (build 1575).

We have users that connecting with the VPN portal (using Chrome or Edge), but the connection is not optimized (configured for RDP connection).

When they open the connection, its a little bit hard to work (because its not a real RDP).

Is there any way to use optimized view when using vpn portal?

You may need tunnel mode.

We don't recommend web mode (The legacy SSL-VPN web mode has attack vectors inherent. Only tunnel mode is recommended for SSL-VPN.). It is better to use tunnel mode using FortiClient, it will allow you to use real RDP.

Are you kidding me? You recommend using real RDP instead of SSL-VPN RDP? Our customers using SSL-VPN RDP, to avoid placing confidential data on BYOD devices.

So what is the recommendation for this scenario?
