Hi All,
I have a 60C working great when i am using IPSEC but since i don't know the Pre-Share Key i needed to create the SSL VPN for an Android tablet.
I created an SSL VPN connection using this as a guide.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqYbNqZSPRA
The SSL VPN connects but i am not able to ping or connect to any Windows Shares.
These are my two polices
I need to have split tunneling enable since VPN clients can use their Internet.
I think i can remove one of these since they are the same network.
Please let me know what i can do to fix this and what other info is needed from me to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance
Ray
hi,
to be able to connect using Windows networking and access shares you need to run the SSL VPN in tunnel mode. This allows a lot of protocols over VPN. Whereas Web mode SSLVPN will only support what is offered by the help of widgets on the portal page.
But...
one of the widgets is an RDP client. Maybe you could use that to login to a Windows machine and use the data this way.
OTOH, what keeps you from creating a second (dial-in) IPsec VPN, with it's own set of credentials, PSK, encryption choices etc.? IPsec tunnels support most commonly used protocols.
I did not think about setting up a sec IP Sec VPN, i know when the first one was setup tech support did it for me. I may look at trying to set up a second IP Sec VPN. Do you know what i would need to do other then say create a second one? Can i use the same policies as the other IP Sec VPN, etc.
Thanks
