SSL VPN SMB/CIFS Partial file download

Hey all,

I have an 80D running 5.2.2. I have an SSLVPN connection going into the box, and from there am making a SMB connection to a windows share. I'm able to successfully navigate to the file I would like to download. The file is ~5gb large. The SMB web browser tool correctly reports the file size, however when I go to download it, it seems to only download about 700mb of the file. 

I've tried changing the extension, and putting it into an archive, and it doesn't seem to make a difference, the file never fully downloads. 

Am I missing some sort of setting where large files are 'chunked' or something?

Bumping this again, anyone else ever run into this? I'll shut up if not...
