SSL VPN Portal with RDP

Hey guys...I' m sure that I am missing something here but this is getting crazy. I have a Fortigate 60D running FortiOS version 5. I have setup a SSL VPN portal and can login without a problem. I have setup bookmarks for RDP connections to servers on one of the subnets in my network. All of those are connecting to a physical port on the Fortigate. When I try to launch the RDP, using RDP Native, it never loads and the log in the VPN log shows ssl-web-deny and SSL web application blocked. I have double and triple checked my policies and even torn out the policies and remade them a few times. Anyone know what' s happening here?

SSL VPN web mode is useless. Tunnel mode works fine. I switched onto IPSec. It works like a charm now. Thanks Anne

Webmode is far from useless. As a matter of fact is far more secure than tunnel mode and it requires no client (depending on functionality chosen). It' s reverse proxy mode. What RDP_native does is launching a RDP session, for windows clients you need to have java installed. Otherwise it won' t work.

I thought you needed Java for regular RDP, and RDP_Native just used the mstsc off the local machine?

Im' having some trouble using RDP from SSL VPN in webmode with java plugin to access Windows 8, it opens the desktop window but in black. Other systems windows 7 or XP works fine. Using Fortigate 100D FortiOS 5.0.2
