SSL/SSH inpection and hardware limits

I have stumbled on a missing option in FortiOS on devices below 100D.  SSH inspection options are completely missing from the SSL inspection menu.  Is this by design?  Is the intent to remove that capability from smaller SoC boxes?

It looks that way. I don't see the feature offered to devices below 100x all the way back to 5.0.0 GA.

If you look at the Product/Feature Matrix, you can see that SSH Proxy is only available on models 100D and up. I've linked the version of the matrix for 5.2.3 but older versions are also available, depending on which firmware version you are using.
