SNMP v3 Save failed - invalid characters (`, $, >, <, &, ;, |) found
Hi,
On FortiSIEM 7.3.2, I cannot create an SNMPv3 credential, I always get the following error: Save failed - invalid characters (`, $, >, <, &, ;, |) found
Has anyone encountered this error? What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Zoltan

Yes, it worked for me with the previous version too. Not on 7.3.2

I don't find such known bug in release notes. Then you probably discovered a new bug in 7.3.2.
I suggest to open a ticket so Fortinet can fix it in the next patch, and they may provide you a workaround meanwhile.

I opened a ticket, but I haven't received a solution yet.

Hi @rz5 ,
I think that the message is pretty clear. Do you use any following special characters in your password?
(`, $, >, <, &, ;, |)

I tried them in password and they are accepted.
