SNMP monitoring of VPN session

Hi everyone,

We've got a cluster of FG600E (v6.0.8) in our office and 2 FG VMs (v6.2.3).

I've created a sensor in PRTG for realtime monitoring of connected VPN users and I would like to also count by connection type (Web VPN or Forticlient) using the following OIDs (taken from: http://oidref.com/1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.12.2.3.1:(

1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.12.2.3.1.4    fgVpnSslStatsActiveWebSessions    0    0    The current number of active SSL web sessions in the virtual domain

1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.12.2.3.1.6    fgVpnSslStatsActiveTunnels    0    0    The current number of active SSL tunnels in the virtual domain

On the 600E, the latter seems to be working fine (Tunnel VPNs by Forticlient) but the former is not - the numbers I get from fgVpnSslStatsActiveWebSessions are almost like the sum of Web VPN + Forticlient connections (but not exact).

On the 2 VMs, the fgVpnSslStatsActiveWebSessions seem to be correct.

Does anyone have any experience on this?

Is there any chance that the issue might be related to the FW version (6.0.8 / 6.2.3.) ?

Thank you,

Pavlos
