SMTP to STARTLS Conversion

Greetings,

I have a system that I need to configure it to send email alerts, this system supports
only smtp protocol on port 25 but the mail server smtp.office365.com which is on internet
supports only starttls on port 587
I need to configure fortigate to receive the emails from the system on port 25 and send to the email sever on port 587 using starttls

any guidance appreciated

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think that's possible from FortiGate. The way around maybe it is, using SSL offloading but I don't think it will help in your scenario. Most probably you need a mail server configured to relay this emails.
