SMTP configuration in fortigate firewall

Hi Guys,

Good evening !!

Actually we are planning to configure SMTP server in fortigate firewall so any alerts which will be generated can come to our mails. Please suggest the procedure and prerequisites for this type of configuration. I am new to fortigate firewall so need your guidance team

You need to configure email server first(CLI):

Then configure the alerts(CLI):
