Run CLI command via websocket?

Did anyone try to run a FortiOS CLI command directly via websocket instead of opening a CLI window from within the WebUI and type the command in manually?

Thanks, I figured out how to utilize websocket to run any CLI command from a FortiGate WebUI as the API has limitations.
